Mambusao, Capiz experienced fire and hit 2 home

Two houses were totally burnt yesterday February 23, 2011 from an estimated time of 10:40 in the morning in Jones Quezon St. formerly San Miguel St., Mambusao, Capiz. Reliable source reported to the fire department at 10:55 that the house of Teresita Lerio was shortly eaten by fire coming from the kitchen area and trying to spread out the smoke.

Automatically the Bureau of Fire Protection of Mambusao called up the neighboring municipal fire marshal to rescue the area because it is so timely that the Fire Track of Mambusao was brought to the workshop for repair because there was a trouble in the machine engine that happens after they reinforced the fire in Roxas City last week and it was happened when they are going back to the office.

After 15 minutes the Sigma Fire Marshal arrived but the suspected house of Teresita Lerio where the fire begun had already burnt, so the fire marshal strikes the water from the left side where it has very close distance at the house of Mrs. Alias “Nene” Liba and many houses closes each other thereafter. The Jamindan and Sapian Fire marshal also arrived and support fighting the fire,  so the fire stopped spreading out on that side but there is a slight damaged at the kitchen part, then the fire fighters follows striking the right side where the two storey house of Mr. Perfecto Lacorte was on the state of total fire spreading especially on the second floor because there was a firewall in between of their lower part from the house where the fire started and the reason why the ground floor affected lately because of flooring made of cement in the 2^nd floor.

I asked Mr. Calderon my companion in Kabalikat Civicom and one of the trusted man in Mambusao fire marshal if they can fight and control the fire otherwise I will try  to call a support from our friend in other communication group the Capiz Volounteer Action Team (CVAT) with Mr. Arnel Alelegay or in KABALIKAT Roxas to communicate the Roxas City Fire Department and in CACAG, and he answered me yes, so I had communicated for the reinforcement. Without knowing also that our School Director in SCA Fr. Anthony Bautista had tried also to communicate the Sapian Fire Marshal.

Thru the Radio Communication, Media support and any communication device of other concern citizen, fire trucks coming from Dao, Quartero, Dumarao, Ivisan and Roxas City were also there to reinforce and fighting the dancing fire until it stopped and cleared that reaches to 2 hours. All Fire trucks went there have really contributed to the success of fighting the fire until 12:40 high noon. The firefighters like the chief SFO4 Donnie Acevedo, Calderon and others gives really and impressive moved to the people of Mambusao who witness the incidents of fighting even at the door of fire or facing the fire.

After all, according to the relatives and immediate family of the two were they lost their home with my personal interview. They lost also:

But the problem remains on the mind of Mambusaonon and to other people who knows the situation why and why the Mambusao Firetruck encountered a machine trouble. Maybe it is because the fire truck was already old and supposed to be changed, so why not provide for a new one. Actually according to one of the concern citizen there was already a request for another Fire truck to be used because the existing one is already old but there is no response until now.  So who will move and supposed to move and provide for the good of Mambusaonon for fire protection, and when it will be given an attention??

                           

Remember we are coming to the month of March, and this is the.....FIRE PREVENTION MONTH
