The Saint Catherine Academy Alumni Association, Mambusao, Capiz Inc. celebrated its Grand Alumni Association last February 27, 2011 at SCA Quadrangle as part of its SCA 45th Foundation Day this February 24-27, 2011. Alumnus from different batches attended and participate the affair. It was one of the successful events of SCA this school year again.
The Activities for Grand Alumni Home coming started with a blessing at 8:00 am in the regular Sunday 2nd Mass as we the SCAAAI as the co-sponsor officiated by the Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Ronnie Banias and co-celebrant the new School Director of SCA Rev. Fr. Antony Bautista. Next is the registration of the participants where you can see a different kind of excitement from them with their position on their hugs and kisses among participants especially for batch mates and friends, then it followed by the proper Program that starts with opening prayer then singing of Philippine National Anthem. The new school director Rev. Fr. Anthony Bautista welcoming for every batch went there and the Opening Remarks by the outgoing SCAAAI President Atty. Justo Lopez. SCA fourth year higher section or future alumni have a given a dance number with their hip hop mixed music.
Before the lunch the participants had given a piece of paper and instructed to write to vote for 10 vacant Directors for the new sets of officers who among them will choose the President to PRO that will serve for 3 years from this year 2011 to 2014. Then after we have selected the new set of officers, it appears once again for the 3rd time from start of organizing the Alumni Association, Atty. Justo S. Lopez still again the president of the Association. Yes because maybe of his good capacity as a good initiator in all aspects of tasks as a good leader and also being a person who knows how to go down, but of course most importantly he can spend his own money from his pocket.for the good of the association and perhaps in the name of his alma mater.

After the election the take oath was conducted to the elected new officers with a Rev. Fr. Antony Bautista as the conductor. Then, there will be raffle sponsored most of it from the president and from other officers who have a wholehearted love, wherein a lot of surprising items, give a ways and cash certificates await for the lucky participants, like 10 packs of 5 kilos super white rice, 10 packs of 7 pieces noodles, 10 pcs crucifix with a trademark from Italy and 10 pieces cash certificates worth Php 1,000.00 each to be used for an advance payment of the incoming 1st year students this coming next school year in June. Every participants feels an excitement in the whole day affair because it seems that everyone had remember their good memories when they are in High School days and their lunch were absolutely free much more that they have received a gift of chance in winning more chances from the raffle.
